When their father dies, brothers Mac and Vito Vitelli continue to work side by side on a construction site and to live at home with their mother and younger brother Bruno. At work, Mac's a fastidious craftsman, but his painstaking efforts put him at odds with the foreman, Polowski, a quick and careless builder. Disgruntled, the Vitelli brothers go into business for themselves. But it isn't long before Mac starts working his brothers too hard, becoming an exacting, inflexible foreman. Yet Mac refuses to compromise his high standards as he struggles to fend off debt and complete his company's first set of row houses. But it may cost him more than he ever bargained for. [More]
