A comedy about two hapless best friends who are plunged headlong into the world of organized crime. When Bobby (Jon Favreau) and Ricky (Vince Vaughn) accept a high-stakes delivery, the clueless duo is flown first-class to New York and thrust into the moneyed world of Ruiz (Sean Combs), a downtown Manhattan gangster. If the film's too ready to go with the flow of Chris Doyle's handheld camerawork, and sometimes seems ad hoc, its spot-on attention to the faux pas of the moment certainly raises a smile.

Vaughn hits the bullseye as a strident, volatile jerk who can't keep his mouth shut. You never really like him, but you can't wait to see what he'll do next -- his missteps and offenses are so unbelievable you wince, but you can't look away.

this movie is phatter than oprah (before the lost weight). vince vaughn is such a naturally talented comedic actor. he steps into the scene and i start laughing. john favreau is excellent as the straight man. while vaughn babbles on favreau sits there gap-mouthed stunned. it's probably not as good as the brilliant swingers but its right up there close with it.

Watchable But Disappointing. This was hailed as a "sequel" to the critically acclaimed, and beloved Swingers even though there is no relationship to each other. This is because the formula of Favreau as the writer, Director, and star pairs with Vince Vaughn for both films. The problem with this one, despite having a really great cast and some really great moments, is that it is not completely cohesive in its execution. The movie seems to be a series of scenes that are loosely tied together to make a weak story. Vaughn is one of my favorites, but here he is a little too unwound to be likable. Not bad but not a great follow up to a great movie.
