He later fled to Argentina, where he was eventually found and kidnapped by Israeli agents. In 1960, Eichmann was tried and executed. Peter Malkin was one of the operatives who abducted Eichmann, and this telefilm (based on Malkin's book) chronicles the conversations shared by the two men. Malkin, who lost a sister and other relatives during the Holocaust, desperately wanted to comprehend how such atrocities could happen.
