While setting up a school pageant, the parents at an elite private academy in New York City reflect on their lives and marriages. Baby boomers Iris (Stockard Channing) and John (Beau Bridges) look back on their free-spirited early years. Nina (Mary Stuart Masterson) and Chuck (Robert Sean Leonard) are a young couple worried about making their marriage last. Meanwhile, trophy wife Claire (Cybill Shepherd) has serious issues with the daughter of her rich husband, Leo (Ron Silver).

Arthur Hiller directed this muddied comic study of the marital crises of three different couples who are close friends. It's an odd mix of honesty and dishonesty, cliché and insight.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This was rubbish! Nothing actually happens, it's all about relationships and that. BORING! Also has the worst ending of any film ever. It does feature a woman with giant red 1980s glasses though. They were entertaining for a few seconds.
