Though raw and sometimes slapdash, MC5: A True Testimonial goes a long way in explaining why that happened, most notably through the raw power of the band's music and the fiery passion that was bound with its image. Go to Full Review

See more 07/13/2010 MC5, A True Testimonial (Dir: David Thomas) Documentário que conta a história de uma banda fudida da porra. See more 08/23/2009 Great documentary about the Motor City 5. I learned much about the band and their role in society thru-out Detroit and music. See more 02/18/2009 It may be the greatest rock documentary I've ever seen. Words cannot express the intensity with which this doc was produced. Packed with adrenaline. In your face interviewes that have absolutely no comparison with afterbirth copycat musicians. Never before seen footage. History being told. A true testimonial. See more 10/29/2008 Never officially released due to a legal dispute between the producers and Wayne Kramer - Wayne says his role was that of 'Music Advisor' forthe film, the producers say "Hey, the music's already out there dude", Wayne says "Screw you guys" and sues for 'unlawful use' of the music, thereby kerbing the chances of thousands of fans actually getting to see this astounding documentary. And I do not use the word 'astounding' lightly, as this is THEE best music doc in existence (and I've seen a helluva lot of others...). Take your finger out your arse, Wayne!!! Everyone else, track down a bootleg. See more 08/27/2008 One of the best music docs I've ever seen. It has never been officially released, so you're going to have to track down a bootleg, which might be tricky. It's totally worth searching for. See more Read all reviews
