Inoffensive piece of tween fluff. I watched this while suffering from a bad back, and headache, and I always seem to rate this type of stuff better when I am not well . Possibly if i watched it next week, would say it is only a two star rating. For some reason I seek out the fluff as it is not demanding and can't handle too much thinking at times like this. LOL.
I don't think I have ever sat through an Olsen twins movie prior to this, mainly I picked this one because I like Jared Padalecki in Supernatural, thought I would check it out.
I have to say neither twin can really act, but they are likeable in a big eyed sort of way. None of this story rings true, and they should be shot for the David Bowie cover at the end (supposedly Roxy's band), but generally I can't even sit through one of these kidsy movies in full, so I guess it couldn't have been too awful, or maybe it's just that I couldn't really move to switch it off!

Fun when I was a kid, but its very cliche now!

I didn't think that this movie could have pretty much fun... Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen can give me some fun too, not just they two having fun for themselves... But this movie get a little boring when it comes at the ending... Overall, it's a pretty good movie to watch...

Pretty average slapstick young girl humour. Levy adds a bit of character to what is essentially a very flat film. Considering it was only made for the money it has enough moments to make it mildly enjoyable. The twins have nice chemistry but not much comic timing and the film is devoid of anything to stretch their acting capabilities.

this is a joke. it's their so-called "adult" film posing as a tween's fantasy.

Basically dull and glossed up stupidity with the sole intention of bringing back the deceased acting prowess of the Olsen twins, New York Minute could easily be one of the worst and most pointless films ever to be produced.

Didn't like it.

It was pretty bad. The plot is nowhere to be found, and all they do is go to random hair salons to get new hairdos.

Yes...I actually rented an Olsen twins DVD. I was bracing for the worst and it turned out to be an okay movie. For what it's worth...I thought the Olsen twins performed well in this film. And their characters were interesting enough...I stuck around until the end. Eugene Levy is his crazy self. He seems to play the same character in every movie. Must be that hair of his. It *never* changes.

I like M-K and A, so this movie was cute to me.

i don't like them now that they're all grown up. they were much cuter when they were kids!

Honestly? I think Mary-Kate and Ashley are two great actresses and I always seem to enjoy the movies they are in. 4 stars. ^_^

Eugene Levy can make almost anything fantastic and he is brilliant for this movie. This one is a little racier for the twins and Levy makes it over the top hilarious. It is not a proud day that I admit to liking this one so much.

When I'm feeling down this movie makes me back happy. This is a funny movie and I like it very much : )

Unfortunately, I had time to waste... This is the movie that got so much press because the twins were running around in bathrobes and sheets for a chunk of it. I wish there was a cool story to go along with it besides, oh no the principal has nothing better to do than skip school and stalk us. Thank god for Jared Padalecki. Even though he was stuck in a lame duck 'clueless hot guy' role I could at least enjoy his presence.
