Beyond Bedlam (Nightscare) (1994)
Drugs, dream-transference and death provide the basis for this violent British horror movie that was originally designed for home-video, but instead had to be theatrically released with Britain's strictest rating. The trouble begins when Dr.Stephanie Lyell who works at a research institute begins injecting herself with BFND, a drug designed to calm the mind. As she does this a hallucinating man is seen diving out a window and spontaneously catching fire as he falls. Policeman Terry Hamilton cannot get over his experience with the psychotic Gilmour (aka Bone Man), the man he captured seven years ago. Stehpanie now uses Gilmour as her favorite guinea pig. While Stephanie does not experience side-effects from BFND, Gilmour does. He discovers that he can enter Stephanie's dreams and cause death. Stephanie and Terry get together to take on Gilmour. They search within the maze-like institute. As they search, they are plagued by the hallucinations Gilmour creates. … More
