We watched this in Social Studies. Seeing Obachan's Garden is the best way to understand what the Japanese endured, not only by being relocated to internment camps. She was the last "picture bride"; she was full of sass, and her lifestory is woven together through renactment with actors, and interviews with her and her family. I felt like a time traveler, and Obachan touched my heart.
