Synopsis: Three world-class singers (Joe Mantegna, George Hamilton, and Danny Aiello) who have become famous for their joint performances unexpectedly break up their act after a single poor showing in Mexico... Three world-class singers (Joe Mantegna, George Hamilton, and Danny Aiello) who have become famous for their joint performances unexpectedly break up their act after a single poor showing in Mexico City. However, the break up has been long in the making, as all three have become inflated with self-importance and arrogance. Some time later, however, Ricardo (Mantegna) learns of his estranged daughter's plans to marry Armand (Hamilton). Never one to let a golden opportunity slip by, Ricardo sets out with two plans in mind: to convince his daughter not to marry, and to reunite the trio and regain their lost glory. Loosely inspired by the legendary, real-life Three Tenors, OFF KEY is a gentle farce directed by Manuel Gomez Pereira (BOCA A BOCA). [More]
