When the Boston Globe outs the cover-up that has long been going on, spearheaded by Cardinal Bernard Law (Christopher Plummer), to keep the priests who perpetrated the crimes from punishment and media exposure, everything the Church supposedly stands for comes into question. Courageous lawyer Mitchell Garabedian (Ted Danson) refuses to turn a blind eye, despite the best efforts of the Church to silence him. He is aided by Father Dominic Spagnolia (Brian Dennehy), and the mother of some of the victims, Mary Ryan (Ellen Burstyn), provides the prosecutor with chilling details of the case. The outstanding cast and controversial nature of the story make for a gripping tale that is both heartrending and inspirational. [More]
