They arrive at a set, where Pardner gets notice with his tricks and Monte gets to sing a few songs. After being cast as a singing cowboy, Monte thinks his career is on its way--but star George Sheridan (John Dehner) has other plans. Sheridan's jealousy of his new rival gets the better of him, and he creates a diversion sure to disrupt Monte and Pardner's roles.
