Unfortunately, this is Europe at the dawn of the second World War and the aging performer is now trapped between Nazis and Soviet forces. A relationship with a beautiful young girl (Mia Kershner) who lives near the cabaret is sparked, but the two are only split apart by the fighting. Separated, the performer stops at nothing to be reunited with his love in an epic romantic conclusion. An outstanding supporting cast bring this tragic romance to life, including the Brian Dennehy, Mercedes Ruehl, and Judd Hirsch. [More]
