Lefcoe's practically unwatchable film is ostensibly a critique of reality-based programming, but its muddled intent and miscalculated presentation gets at nothing.
A movie that attempts to mock reality TV as if the fad hadn't already disintegrated into farce -- and as if The Truman Show, EDtv, Series 7: The Contenders and others never happened.
Lefcoe gets her message across through a very strong script and terrific performances.
Other than McKellar's bright cameo, the remaining players seem trapped in a mean, deadening satire.
While not as insidious in its evisceration of TV's peeping-tom culture as My Little Eye, Lefcoe's satire still draws blood.
Lefcoe, throughout the 77 minutes, makes an excellent point as to where reality TV might be heading.
A movie that oozes its contempt for Reality TV from every imaginable pore. So obviously I had a ball with it.
