Unfortunately, the compound they discovered in Africa causes strange side effects that turn humans into vampires. One day, while testing his antidote on a homeless vagrant, the homeless man fights back and Michael is accidentally injected with the serum. Michael will now need to face those who formerly employed him to overcome the side effects of the medicine. “I almost forgot to thank you for my limp.” Kelly Dolen (Snap and The Gates of Hell) and David Allen collaborate to deliver Reign of Darkness. The storyline for this picture is a combination of Underworld, Matrix, and Equilibrium. The script is horrible, the soundtrack is questionable, and the acting is atrocious. Shortly into the movie, I discovered it was exactly what I thought it was…a waste of time. While there were some creative characters, funny lines, and solid action sequences, the film was more frustrating than entertaining. This is amongst the worst films I have ever seen. “We’re not eating, we’re playing.” Grade: F See more 05/18/2009 They feed while the world sleeps a new breed of vampires See more Read all reviews
