After salesmen Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) trash a company truck, the court gives them a choice: jail time or community service in a mentoring program. Thinking to take the easy way out, the two overgrown adolescents find themselves paired with a teenager (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who is experiencing the pangs of first love, and a foul-mouthed fifth-grader (Bobb'e J. Rudd and Scott aren't stretching any new muscles, but Rudd's glum disaffection and Scott's bozo bonhomie do gel with a satisfying stickiness. They handle the gaping innuendo with such delicacy we know that they know they're better than this.

The writing was really well done. Funny, yes, but not that much (a comfortable watch). I think Paul is a really good actor in a serious films since he brings humor to that. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a funny actor, but I guess Antman has had me make a very vague conclusion to the guy. As I said earlier, the concept behind the movie was really good. I wouldn't change a thing on this film. I liked it

those saying this a comedy for the ages are simpletons. a few laughs, a couple tiddies and competent acting all around. there's even a chubby elizabeth banks. this is a redemption story for two directionless juvenile boobs. you can watch this but it's not really a comedy.

Role Models aims for loud, unapologetic comedy, but rarely finds its rhythm. It has a couple of genuinely funny moments and a cast that does what it can, yet most of the humor feels forced and repetitive. The film leans too heavily on noise instead of wit, stretching jokes long after they’ve worn out their welcome. Its attempt to balance crude comedy with a feel-good message ends up diluting both sides. Not a complete disaster, but a clear missed opportunity that delivers far fewer laughs than it promises.
