Peck plays Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty, a real-life cleric who, during World War II, rescued thousands of escaped POWs from the Gestapo. Great story, but very long and drawn out. Gregory Peck is always good. Obviously made for television. Decent supporting cast. Nice location setting. The score is overbearing and interferes with the story.
