In the lingo of the business known as show, prequels are the place where once viable franchises go to die. And since that's almost always the case, what are we to make of a movie that prologues an already established preamble?

Again, they should have called it THE YOUNG SCORPION KING ADVENTURES as instead of making an adult movie with hot babes getting naked, arms getting chopped off, heads getting dismember and more, we get a teenager running around with his teenage posse.

Oh the joys of watching films that aren't just phoned-in when they easily could have been! The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior has all of the charm and bite missing from the near depressingly silly The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
