Before long, he has become wealthy enough to buy up most of Nevada. Some things, however, aren't for sale, and all his riches fail to alter the affections of the happily-married Georgia. Nonetheless, Mike decides to send her husband into hostile Indian territory to transact business, knowing full well that he may not make it back alive. When this tragedy does come to pass, McComb woos the beautiful widow, but to no avail. Then McComb's empire begins to crumble, and his perspective on the world changes. He realizes the horror of his past actions -- and finally opens the way for both redemption and love. [More]
