The best thing Love, Simon did for queer media was pave the way for Love, Victor, its superior spinoff series...nevertheless, the latter wouldn’t exist without the former, and for that, I will always hold a soft spot in my heart for Berlanti’s adaptation.

I love this film. It's funny, moving, and relatable for a lot of people that have been through similar journeys. Nick Robinson plays the role well, and his respective scenes with both Jennifer Garner, and Josh Duhamel after they learn his sexuality are powerful. I happily rewatch this.
