One of the "Original Kings of Comedy" shows off another side of his talents in this concert film. The contrast between the familiar image of Harvey as the brash, above-it-all funnyman we've come to love over the years and the suddenly vulnerable soul we now see up on the on screen is unusually endearing and, ultimately, winning.
Don't Trip...He Ain't Through With Me Yet! is the most decisive "Amen!" that the crafty and dapper Steve Harvey can get short of being baptized in the Nile River.
You may be left wondering, When the show is this short (78 minutes) and the comedy this sanitized (0 expletives), why not put it on TV instead of in theaters?
Steve had to tone it down for the Bible Thumpers in this one. Of course, his comedy isn't all that edgy to begin with.

Tremendous comedy and a commendable first for Steve Harvey to do a show in front of a packed house of Christians with NO cussin. You Go Boy! The Jesus intro gave me goosebumps- a must see.
