Watchable drama. Strictly Sexual is about two successful women, sick and tired of dating and relationships, decide to keep two young men in their pool house for strictly sexual purposes. I liked the talky dialogue, and I thought the performance from the cast were pretty solid. But the male perv in me wanted actual nudity not a group of people talking dirty, and since when have women had sex with there bra's on while under the covers, catch a grip.

where is s the nudity, the story was fair the actor where believeable but a movie about an aagreement to keep a relationship strictly sexual should have nudity

Good: Funny, original, good acting
Bad: Gets very boring after an hour

A move about two women who are sick of relationships and decide to hire two men to stay at their home for strictly sexual desires. This movie really had it's ups and it's downs. There were times when I was enjoying the movie, but at other times I found myself on the verge of turning it off. The conflicts of the film are the most boring part of it. there are moments where you don't care how the conflict with resolve. The movie had potential to be much better if the writers could envelope the watchers into the subplot, but it just didn't catch my attention. I found myself getting bored after an hour. The first hour of the movie is actually very entertaining. It is funny and dramatic. The plot is new and fun, and the acting is good.

i thought it was fantastic...I thought it would be just about sex and not have any real plot to it but it was very well put together . I loved it! i just wish the camera didn't move as much when the characters talked to each other but overall excellent movie!

i thought it was great..i would of liked to see some skin tho..its rated R could hurt to show some boobs hehe

This movie was very surprising. I liked the story idea and the cast was great together. I do so love an ending that I don't see coming from a mile away.

One heck of a flick. You see a lot of truth in this little movie. Not just another sex show. Reversing sex roles makes this a bit more interesting. There is a lot of undercurrents in this movie and you need to watch for subtle hints as well! All in all , it is well worth watching. The ending is very well done !!!!

there was zero filtering, which i liked. Also, it delved into a topic that are current with the times. questioning men motives and doubles standards set against women.

I am surprised that this only has an average of 3 stars! This is a fantastic movie that I wanted to watch again and again.

Two unemployed carpenters played by Johann Urb and Stevie Long, find themselves living in the pool cabana of 2 very rich young ladies, played by Amber Benson and Kristen Kerr, who are looking for strictly sexual relations, period. What follows is great personality development as we come to see the true feelings of all involved and how sex can indeed, turn into love and complicate everyone's lives to no end.

True, the beginning was a bit hard to swallow but as we relax into the characters we can see how truly human they are, each bringing their own struggles for fame, their fantasies, and their past full of baggage right up front for us to see.

The ending is a heartbreak but also a triumpth as we see that people who don't rush into sex actually *do* have a chance of forming a relationship even though someone may be a virgin and someone else amy be totally alienated from relationships.

Even though it may be difficult to find in your local rental store you should really give this a try.

Is it just me or do most recent movies have male and female stereotypes reversed where the women just want sex without commitment or love and the men are the ones after love and commitment. It just seems a little unrealistic to me.

Better then the average movie about beautiful people enjoying sex and learning how to enjoy sex, Amber Benson gives probably what I would call her best performance to date. A bittersweet movie but one that rang so true. At least for me...

July 2012--> Watched again on NETFLIX, & loved it even more this time. There's so much more to this movie than the sex, it's more of a love story from the man's point of view. Add Stevie Long as one of the main characters who finds himself 'falling in love', well that just made the movie for me. He's not only hot but talented...

This was an unexpectedly good little film, it was quite touching and funny. It's available on hulu.

Strictly Sexual is funny,touching, and entertaining. I had a lot more fun that I expected to. I normally despise romantic comedies, but I enjoyed this one.

The truth is that "Strictly Sexual" is a good movie. Its not the best, it has its flaws, but its still good. Some of the dialogue is stupid, and occasionally the acting makes you groan, but otherwise its pretty good.

What really does drives the film is the acting. All four leads are funny, and believable. They sometimes overact in the "crying dramatic scenes", but then again, crying is crying.

What makes the movie enjoyable, is that it has a certain charm to it. The characters are likable, and they hook you from square one. You want them to be happy.

The plot is a little contrived, but its an indie film, its supposed to be different than the mainstream stuff. And it is. The concept is funny, and the execution is nice.

Strictly Sexual is not the predictable, run of the mill, sex comedy with everything happening exactly as you expect it too. In fact, there is very little nudity. Lots of sex, but its far from being anywhere near NC-17, so don't be turned off by any appearance of being a low grade "sex" film. Its not.

Strictly Sexual is a fun movie. Considering that its free on Hulu, its definitely worth the Hour and a half of your day.

I initially watched it out of boredom, expecting just another shallow raunchy sex movie that would provide a good laugh, but that was not it at all.

It was simply, but it was very and honest and at parts deep, and kept you engaged the whole way through and left you satisfied at the end. The sex is the backing of a legitimate good story line, and in no way takes center stage in this film. You could probably take the sex out and have close to just as good a film, because all the sex did was provide a premise to work the then raunchy free message with.

It was well filmed, well acted, well written. One of the bets independent films I have seen.
