Dano B @DanoBurkett 1h Not a bad theme; could have been another Guardians of the Galaxy, but had the worst director since Deno Deloritoes, in Dune 1-12 or any of them! Even worse than Speed 2 with Saundra B, and how could they mess up a Saundra B movie? First of all Closed Captions IN A COMIC BOOK MOVIE? HOW RETARDED! Second The kid had a British accent, and my wife, Janet, could not understand! Too fast paced and hard to follow! Poor choice of lame songs--Would it have killed to play another one bights the dust? Or If LOOKS could KILL from Heart! They should have used the director from TOY STORY! I doubt this bad Director could make money flipping a BURGER-- He would swat rather than flip! Heather Slater did a fantastic job with some amazing flying scenes. It’s a shame Christopher Reeve wasn’t in the film as once talked about but his poster was in the film showed it was in the same universe. It kept me entertained the whole time. Milly Alcock was great. Jason Momoa was a great Lobo. I went through the whole range of emotions. It was a great introduction of who Kara is in this version of the DC Universe. They tried way too much to ground these superheroes back then with boring human villains. Supergirl actress was good tho! See more Anderson O @Platinum2027 6d Supergirl is campy, low budget sci fi, and directly poorly from a female gaze. Not as bad as I thought it would be. The cameos and references for superman movies before are interesting enough to give it at lease one watch. Faye as Selena has the best performance and nearly steals the movie as the main villain.
