Which Film Franchise Has Been the Best for Female Characters?

Even fans can hate this movie. Being a fan of the Tekken franchise of games I was appalled by what I saw. The Prologue and Epilogue felt just like cut scenes before and after arcade modes of characters. No surprise there.
The Epilogue, even after regretting seeing Blood Vengeance, sets up a cliffhanger that may or may not contribute to another Tekken movie. A Tekken movie that would actually follow the games. I hope this is the case. I don't really want another movie all about Ling.
