William S. Hart takes his good-bad man character out of the West for this capital-versus-labor drama. Widower Robert Evans (Hart) labors as a factory foreman, and his young son, Danny (Will Jim Hatton), works alongside him. Evans urges his boss, Henry Chapple (Frank Brownlee), to repair the machinery before an accident happens, but Chapple is more concerned with contracts than with the safety of his workers.
