It takes a 42 million dollar budget and wastes it on the dumbest set-pieces you can possibly imagine. As a result, it feels expensive but not in a good way – in an animal print on furniture way.

Worthy Watch! This is in my opinion a family scary movie and one of my favorites. I’ve watched it more than a few times and watch yearly around Halloween time with the fam.

I went into THIR13EN Ghosts expecting a creepy supernatural horror movie, but it ended up being more frustrating than frightening. The story feels rushed, and it relies heavily on flashy visuals instead of building genuine suspense or tension. One of the biggest disappointments was the ghost makeup and designs. While some of the ghosts look unique, I never found them truly scary. They seemed more focused on being strange or over-the-top than actually creating fear, which took away from the horror experience. The movie also struggles with its pacing. Scenes move quickly without giving enough time for atmosphere or character development. As a result, I found it difficult to care about what was happening on screen. Released by Warner Bros. in the United States and Columbia Pictures in other territories, THIR13EN Ghosts had an interesting concept but didn't deliver for me. I gave it a 3/10, The visuals are memorable, but the scares are weak and the story feels shallow.

Got to watching this once I saw it was finally on something, and oh boy did I love it. I'm definitely a lover of a lot of 2000s horror, mostly because I've finally watched more and I grew up with some of them. While I understand why people think this is stupid, I honestly don't care. This is an awesome time, even if it's a bit dumb, and cheesy, it's also a nice sleepover movie honestly.
