Farah R. @Farah Jun 23 Turistas excels at keeping tensions high to the last minute, so although the plot is somewhat predictable, it’s impossible to stop watching before it ends. It’s also well-paced with just enough action to balance out its slower sequences. Overall, I really enjoyed it. If you like horror, you have to watch this. If you like thrillers, you have to watch this. Turistas, in my opinion, is one of the most criminally underrated movies of all time. Especially since movies like saw, and hostel did so well. This movie, unlike others, is 100% believable. The story is so raw and real, and the acting is near perfect. Viewer beware: Like jaws did to beach goers, Turistas will make you never want to travel to a third world country.
