This current rating is absolute SH*T! I like this Christmas Movie, but it ain't as good as The Grinch movie, the Live action and the Animated version. See more Cody H @CodyHue 05/18/2025 Unaccompanied minors is an okey film to watch on a Saturday night, even when it isn’t Christmas. There are quite some funny moments, but the plot is predictable and full of cliché’s. The script is poor and especially realism seems to miss in the story. The smart kids vs the dumb adults. An airport director that is chasing children around the airport feels a bit, well, funny but unnecessary. The acting of some of the actors are bad, especially Spencer and Katherine, both completely annoying. Katherine is a brat and if santa was right about one thing, she doesn’t deserve a doll at all. Her even more horrible brattish babysitter makes things even worse. Donna and Charlie do much better as actors and bring the story a warm charm. The side actors like the mother and father of spencer should have been left out almost completely. This is a perfectly fun, sweet and goofy christmas story. The basic premise is a cat and mouse chase featuring a group of young teenagers of divorced families trying to make the most of their Christmas after their flights have been grounded, while they’re on the run from airport security. Each character has their own quirky attributes and share hilarious and wholesome moments throughout the film as they get closer as a team and as a family. I fell in love with this film when I saw it at Girl Guides when I was 12. It had so many laugh out loud moments and I went on to show my sisters who love it too. It holds a special place in my heart and remains one of my favourite Christmas movies alongside Groundhog Day, Tokyo Godfathers and the first two Home Alone’s. See more Read all reviews
