Their production company, "Section Eight Productions," has yielded a number of films, and Sodebergh has directed Clooney in a number of films such as OCEAN'S 11 and SOLARIS. Here, they team up once again, co-producing HBO show UNSCRIPTED, which follows the fictional lives of three actors as they attempt to succeed in the cutthroat film world. Creating a meta-TV world similar to other early 21st century shows such as CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and FAT ACTRESS, Krista Allen (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Bryan Greenberg (ONE TREE HILL), and Jennifer Hall (ALL MY CHILDREN) all play themselves in the show, as do most of the supporting cast. A notable exception is actor Frank Langella (LOLITA), who takes a major role as Goddard Fulton, an acting coach who leads the three main characters through some lessons in the art, with decidedly mixed results.
