Chie 1 @Chieallen Apr 21 Watching this movie was liking watching a NASCAR race, it just kept coming around and around to the same place And oh how contrived everything ended up being. Its simply unimaginable that a plot against the president would be so complex and intricately designed, relying on so many moving parts, including the ability of a single man to enter the hotel where the president was staying, stride through the lobby, go up the elevator and onto the floor where the president was without once being accosted. And then there’s a little girl in the plaza who loses her mother. Despite the Tourist played by forest Whitaker running about 10 minutes chasing a guy, and the main agent in pursuit of another guy for about 15 minutes, they all end up at exactly the same place at the same time. A wandering little girl out ran all the adults to get to that spot. Simply unbelievable. The rewinding effect with the view point of various characters, a Rashomon like effect, I thought might be tiresome but not so in my opinion. I feel that this movie has been unfairly maligned. It is entertaining with interesting plot twists. It definitely is worth viewing. Not for me See more kevenquinlan T @RT75276071 Jul 24 The movie is great. The reviews for it are laughable. It's entertaining, cool premise, the acting is good. I'm keeping it now in 2025 for my collection but saw it in the theatre and enjoyed it then. The concept of it has been done in a few other movies- I wouldn't say over done nor would I say the movie style detracts in any way. I'm puzzled by the lack of love.
