Along the way, she meets Dr. Philip Smith (Edward Judd) who, taken by her loveliness, decides to become her companion on the trip. When the two arrive at the city, they discover that the voices intend Carol to become successor to the throne of Queen Ayesha, love interest of King Killikrates (John Richardson).
