Westworld is a futuristic theme park where paying guests can pretend to be gunslingers in an artificial Wild West populated by androids. After paying a sizable entrance fee, Blane and Martin are determined to unwind by hitting the saloons and shooting off their guns. But when the system goes haywire and Blane is killed in a duel with a robotic gunslinger, Martin's escapist fantasy suddenly takes on a grim reality.

It offers such a tantalizing premise that it’s no wonder Crichton later modified it by adding dinosaurs to the equation and coming up with Jurassic Park.

I love finding movies like this! I was smiling 3/4 of it! Campy, ya, but still for 1973, great story, mostly good acting. 53 yrs old, and better than most of the new movies on Disney!

This didn’t age amazingly well but it was good. I honestly enjoyed the 1st season of the Westworld show better than this… too bad the show went downhill though.

Despite the old looking cinematography, I think it's a very good movie with a good plot and very good acting. I especially found Richard Benjamin very astonishing in this movie and very great and I thought also James Brolin was very good. And Yul Brynner was a very good antagonist.
