Aggressively and obnoxiously telegraphs its intention to only impress and entertain very small children. Indiscriminate ones. Go to Full Review

Doug N. @dis_doug 4d Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo is a really charming little musical with a fun Easter twist on A Christmas Carol, featuring the beloved Winnie the Pooh characters. The story follows Rabbit as he cancels Easter and replaces it with “Spring Cleaning Day,” making everyone do chores instead of celebrating. Roo ends up helping Rabbit see that he’s being a bit too strict, and that spending time with friends matters more than following rules perfectly. The hand-drawn animation is bright, colorful, and whimsical—exactly what you’d expect from a Pooh movie. The songs are cute and catchy, and they fit nicely into the story. Some standouts are “Easter Day with You”, “The Way It Must Be Done”, and “The Grandest Easter of Them All.” Overall, it’s a sweet and heartwarming spin on a familiar story, and a great pick if you’re looking for something light and festive to watch around Easter with family or if you’re a Pooh fan. The story centers on Rabbit’s frustration over the Easter tradition and his desire to control how the holiday is celebrated. What begins as a light seasonal adventure gradually develops into something deeper as Rabbit confronts his feelings and insecurities. The narrative gives his struggle real emotional weight, making his eventual realization feel earned rather than forced. The supporting characters, including Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, play an important role in guiding and encouraging him. Their teamwork highlights the strength of community and compassion. Visually, it keeps the classic Hundred Acre Wood charm, and while it is not groundbreaking, it delivers a heartfelt message with humor and sincerity. I don't like the part where Rabbit says NO because each 6 shaking frame takes 5 seconds. And then it cuts to black. See more Susanna P @RT18130056 May 17 Rabbit is our one and only Easter Bunny! I love him! See more Cameron H @camthemovieman Apr 21 “Springtime With Roo” is a perfect Easter movie for kids and families. It’s a loose adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol,” but with Easter instead of Christmas. The story follows Roo, who is excited to celebrate Easter with his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods. He, along with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eyore, go to visit Rabbit, who refuses to celebrate Easter. Rabbit essentially is the Ebenezer Scrooge in this story as he learns important lessons about love, friendship, and caring. “Springtime With Roo” is full of Easter fun and meaningful messages geared towards kids and families. I’ve always loved Winnie the Pooh so I enjoyed this film quite a bit. I recommend giving it a watch for a quick family movie night this Easter! See more Dale R @iromulus9 07/07/2024 This direct to home video release finds the 100 acre wood gang excited about Easter, but Rabbit isn’t on board. This is an Easter themed adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with Rabbit serving as Scrooge and the Narrator as the ghosts. The story and songs are simplified for a younger audience, though there are a few nods and four wall breaks that adults may enjoy. A harmless adventure that may keep the younger kids occupied while you make Easter dinner. See more Read all reviews
