Elena Michaels is a loner in a world she never wanted to be part of. The only female werewolf in existence, she is desperate to escape from both the paranormal world she's in and the man who turned her into a wolf. So she abandons her pack and moves to a new city, where she works as a photographer and hides her strange existence from her new boyfriend. But she is torn between the two worlds when bodies start appearing in her pack's backyard, and Elena finds herself at Stonehaven, the creatures' ancestral domain, and quickly realizes that she'll stop at nothing to defend her pack. "Bitten" is based on Kelley Armstrong's New York Times best-selling fantasy book series "Women of the Otherworld."

Bitten has become a true ensemble series, with each wolf in the pack seeming to hold the same weight rather than the focus being on Elena, the only female werewolf. Go to Full Review

As I've mentioned in past reviews, one thing that I really enjoyed about this season was that they actually gave some of depth to some previously vapid characters. Go to Full Review

Bruce M @BruceMc Sep 2 As ridiculous as the first season was, the second is more so. Again, you've seen it all before, but this time there are witches involved! Oh, no! Again, it's basically stupid YA fare, but gets an extra star for the goddess Laura Vandervoort, without whom there would be no reason to watch the show. See more Serge M 04/26/2022 Themes and characters are fleshed out. This season really gets into the meat an potatoes of how to survive in a dangerous environment while preserving a group secret. The escalation is well done, a far cry from season 1. See more 04/30/2021 Absolutely ridiculous See more 09/15/2019 Great show made me cry a few times See more 11/29/2017 Bitten expands its mythology with the introduction of witches in the second season. After the attack on Stonehaven the Alpha Council questions Jeremy Danvers' ability to lead his pack, and in order to put his house in order heÂ’s forced into an unlikely alliance with a coven of witches and soon discovers a common enemy that threatens them both. Bringing witches into the mythology is exactly what the series needed; as the werewolf mythos just wasn't that interesting and is pretty nonsensical. Witchcraft however, allows the show to explore more of the supernatural and has less built-in limitations. The Elena and Clay romance plot, on the other hand, doesn't work at all and comes off as extremely forced and overdramatic. Still, Laura Vandervoort gives a strong performance, and recurring guest stars Tommie-Amber Pirie, Sean Rogerson, and Kiara Glasco are quite good and bring new energy to the series. Thrilling and action-packed, Season 2 of Bitten is a definite improvement over the first. See more 09/15/2015 I really enjoyed Bitten Season 1 and Season 2. Sure, (spoiler alert), they like to kill off the characters that are not quite as attractive as their counterparts, but it has a True Blood Feel to it. They have a "Big Bad" and the story gets a bit more compelling as the Season Goes on. The Main Cast are all convincing actors and drive the story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
