Nicholas K @Imajica Aug 23 Season 1, in my opinion, is the highlight of the series. It captures a unique atmosphere and an inviting sense of immersion that the later seasons, unfortunately, struggle to maintain. In Seasons 2 and 3, the pacing feels too rushed: antagonists come and go, and the warm, human storyline of a newcomer finding his place in society fades into the background. That said, it’s important to remember — this show is not The Sopranos. Don’t expect shocking finales or extraordinarily deep characters that haunt you long after the credits roll. This series is about something else entirely: a playful, at times tongue-in-cheek take on crime tropes, leaning more toward dark comedy than heavy-handed drama. And if you approach it on those terms — lightly, without inflated expectations — it’s an enjoyable and engaging ride. The first season remains outstanding, while the later ones, though weaker, are still worth watching. It’s a good show, just with a different focus than some might expect.
