When the BBC gets around to marketing the series abroad, may I suggest the alternative title of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Muskets? Go to Full Review

There's all the usual swashbuckling adventure that you'd expect from The Musketeers. Go to Full Review

Overall, was it the greatest return of a show? Not quite. However it was certainly watchable and enjoyable enough. I don't want to damn The Musketeers with faint praise, but it is a show that you could quite happily classify as mostly harmless. Go to Full Review

This year, for all its charms, The Musketeers hasn't always been afforded the treatment it deserves - and that's a real shame, because you'll find few drama series as polished and consistently entertaining as this. Go to Full Review

Joshua M @RT43979886 11/24/2024 Excellent!!! A fun adventure... See more The Wandering D @RT87120553 04/13/2021 Season two of this show, while still very good, is not as good as season one. I definitely was a huge fan of the first season and less a fan of the second season. However, this should not dissuade you from watching it. See more 12/27/2018 Season two jumped the shark by the second episode. The new villian is a cardboard cutout compared to the Cardinal, think 1 dimensional evil. The Queen changes personality completely in the second season, also becoming harder and darker. The King proves to be the biggest disappointment, changing from a child-like ruler to a cold-hearted monster in the space of 45 minutes. Completely ridiculous and terrible writing. See more 07/19/2017 Awesome second season for an awesome show. See more 04/25/2015 This is such a great and fresh show. Season 2 is really setting up the season for the long haul. We now really know our core characters and with war on the horizon, we're ready for series 3. This show is packed with adventure and drama. The BBC has done it again! See more 03/22/2015 Swashbuckling fun with a simple formula of villainous villans and heroic heros. See more Read all reviews
