Christina H Jul 15 Perfect, although I wish there were more seasons! I love this show so very much!! Wonderful actors, storylines and a show I will watch again. I did miss the original Pauline but it all worked in time. See more 10/14/2021 Spoilers! I loved the first season, but Katherine made a much better villain in the first season than Weston here. Literally everything he tries backfires. His PTSD is hinted at throughout the season and pays off not at all. Denise and then Jonas both clumsily confront him with it one by one, for no reason, giving themselves away and accomplishing absolutely nothing. The real estate is redistributed absolutely arbitrarily. Worst of all, the first season was believable, but this season really turns Denise into a Mary Sue. EVERYTHING she does with the store works and she arbitrarily invents various products for no reason. It's like watching the phantom menace and then Darth Vader invents C-3po and you're like... Okay? How is that adding anything to the plot? So she invents haunted houses, post cards, and lotion...? So... Great. Anywho, still sad it was cancelled, season 1 is way better than season 2.
