Moved to Australia at age 9. Studied at the Australian Theatre for Young People. Workedas an editor withfilmmaker Paul Cox on several feature films anddocumentaries. Was in the running to play the young Obi Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels, but lost out to Ewan McGregor. Adapted the 2007 short film The Rose of Ba Ziz from a children's book written by his father. Is among the cast of the 2007 documentary In the Company of Actors, which chronicles rehearsals andpreparations forthe Sydney Theatre Company's production of Hedda Gabler at theBrooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
