Diallo Riddle was born on June 30, 1975 in Atlanta, GA. In 1993, he enrolled at Harvard University, where he split his energies between creative prospects and political endeavors, namely a regular position writing for the Harvard Political Review. While at Harvard, Riddle met Bashir Salahuddin, who would become his creative partner well into their careers in show business. Following graduation in 1997, Riddle moved to Los Angeles and began working as a DJ to support a career as an entertainment executive. Soon enough, Riddle switched his goals toward the creative, collaborating with Salahuddin in 2004 on their first project since college: a comedy troupe called Cleo's Apartment. The success of the troupe earned Riddle attention in the industry, and landed him a writing job on the satirical series "Chocolate News" (Comedy Central 2008). After the cancelation of the program, Riddle earned a regular staff writing gig on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (NBC 2009-2014). Following a selection of smaller projects in the interim period, such as the short-lived "The Maya Rudolph Show" (NBC 2014) and the "Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays" (Fox 2015), Riddle landed his first major acting gig: a recurring part on the hit comedy series "Silicon Valley" (HBO 2014-). Next, he reteamed with Salahuddin to co-write their own TV movie, "Brothers in Atlanta" (2016), a slice-of-life comedy about two actors balancing life and work in Atlanta, GA.
