Jack Byron was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Byron found his beginnings in film with roles in "Synthetic Sin" (1928) and the Richard Arlen western "Under the Tonto Rim" (1928). Byron began to focus on film after appearing in the western "Clearing the Range" (1931) with Hoot Gibson, the Barbara Stanwyck drama "Ten Cents a Dance" (1931) and the western "Gold" (1932) with Jack Hoxie. He also appeared in the adaptation "Enter Madame" (1935) with Elissa Landi. Later in his career, Byron acted in "This Island Earth" (1955). Byron passed away in May 1991 at the age of 96.
