Hokum (2026) 87% 3/4 EDIT “...without Scott being such a perfectly dick-ish character, none of this works; thankfully, it all does, and Hokum is one of the first great horror experiences of 2026.” – Third Coast Review May 1, 2026 Full Review The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) 78% 3.5/4 EDIT “ Ultimately, the film is uplifting, charming and funny, but also filled with a certain amount of insight into the difficult business of publishing.” – Third Coast Review May 1, 2026 Full Review Apex (2026) 65% 3/4 EDIT “At the ripe old age of 50 years old, Theron is pulling off acts of physical daring that people half her age would be terrified to try.” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Mother Mary (2026) 71% 3/4 EDIT “Mother Mary is at its best when Lowery focuses on the film's core relationship. ” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Michael (2026) 37% 1.5/4 EDIT “Honestly, the real star of Michael is Academy Award-winning makeup designer Bill Corso” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Pretty Ugly: The Story of the Lunachicks (2026) 3.5/4 EDIT “They still sound incredible in the most recent footage in Pretty Ugly, but more fulfilling is knowing that these women are all still friends...” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Lorne (2026) 71% 3/4 EDIT “...we end up getting something close to revealing, without Michaels having to give the filmmaker too much of himself.” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026) 46% 2.5/4 EDIT “Horror fans will have reasons to get excited about The Mummy, but don’t expect your heart to race too often.” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Hamlet (2025) 72% 3/4 EDIT “By its conclusion, Hamlet is more of a blunt instrument than a precise weapon used to take down a dynasty” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Pizza Movie (2026) 80% 3/4 EDIT “The movie feels adjacent to something like the Harold & Kumar movies, which is a wonderful place to be in my opinion...” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) 43% 1.5/4 EDIT “The only emotional tension in the movie is whether Bowser is going to allow his friendly feelings toward Peach and her friend to prevail, or if he’ll side with his evil-inclined offspring...” – Third Coast Review Apr 24, 2026 Full Review Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) 75% 2.5/4 EDIT “As dumb as the junk science of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice gets, having these ridiculously likable actors steering the ship genuinely helps get you through the silliness.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review They Will Kill You (2026) 64% 2/4 EDIT “There’s a certain brazen quality to the whole affair that I appreciated to a degree, but enthusiasm and good intention don’t always result in an exceptional piece of filmmaking. ” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Alpha (2025) 57% 3/4 EDIT “This one is a bit of a step down for Ducournau, but it’s still perfectly acted, with a few visual stabs that got a gasp or two out of me.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Marc by Sofia (2025) 74% 2/4 EDIT “I think the problem goes back to Coppola being too close to her subject. She clearly sees something in him all the time, so she doesn’t bother to dig too deep so that the rest of us can share in this knowledge.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist (2026) 90% 3/4 EDIT “Any good issue-driven documentary shouldn’t tell you how to feel about its subject...and on that level, the filmmakers get it right.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Tow (2025) 77% 2.5/4 EDIT “Tow sometimes feels a bit like a Movie of the Week, but with much better actors attached.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026) 74% 1.5/4 EDIT “Because of the ridiculous amounts of blood in Ready or Not 2, it technically qualifies as a horror movie, I guess, but there isn’t an iota of anything scary...” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Project Hail Mary (2026) 94% 3.5/4 EDIT “thanks to the wonderful combination of top-notch performances and awe-inspiring visual effects, we’ve stumbled upon the first great studio film of 2026...” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review undertone (2025) 74% 3/4 EDIT “undertone is an exercise in minimalist filmmaking, until it isn’t.” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Reminders of Him (2026) 56% 2/4 EDIT “Reminders of Him isn’t terrible or unwatchable—the two leads are too interesting for that—but it left me unmoved...” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Hoppers (2026) 94% 3/4 EDIT “[Hoppers] features an emotional depth that is clearly aimed at older audience members and might even result in small amounts of crying from all ages. ” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review THE BRIDE!
