Though it offers a few modest pleasures for undemanding viewers, Twins leans too heavily on the wackiness of its premise to overcome its narrative shortcomings. Read critic reviews

Dec 23, 2012Pretty average comedy, Arnolds acting is wooden but it works, Some funny bits but they soon wear out as the film gets boring and predictable very fast.Jamie C Super Reviewer

May 25, 2012Twins is a fun and enjoyable comedy from director Ivan Reitman. The film combines a fish out of water tale with a family comedy; when Julius discovers that he has a long lost twin brother he takes off for LA to find him, but things don't go as expected and hilarity ensues. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito, Kelly Preston, and Chloe Webb, the film is well cast with some good talent. Schwarzenegger and DeVito make for an especially fun comedic duo and have great chemistry together. Plus, there's a sincerity and campiness that gives the film a certain charm. Twins is an entertaining and heartwarming comedy that delivers a lot of laughs.Dann M Super Reviewer

Dec 02, 2011Twins is a decent comedy with a lot if heart but no brains. Its a simple plot with simple characters, these two twins find each other and are opposites, box office hit right there. The characters were as cheesy as they come, but somehow these two brothers were able to make me enjoy them becoming family. The end of this film is terribly cliche and unrealistic with the children (which I will not spoil) but just know that it will churn your teeth. Arnold Schwarzanegger and Danny Devito actually did very well in this film, they were great choices for the roles given and they are so different that it made them fun to watch on screen. The movie gives some good laughs as well, but they are interrupted by a stupid plotline about a guy trying to kill them and almost ruined the story completely. The backround story was also a lot to swallow, just a lot of scientific stuff when it could have been really simple. This movie may give a rotten story, but it has a well picked cast and some decent laughs so I think it was a average film.Bradley W Super Reviewer
