As the debate rages on about whether strong female characters in movies should evoke admiration through heroism or just be flawed, human and sometimes downright unlikeable, it's nice to see that Brea Grant created a film that's full of different women.

I guess I can understand how some critics may like the movie. What i can't understand is people who call it witty. It is not witty, or clever, or particularly funny. As the synopsis makes clear, it is a movie about a drug addicted nurse, her cousin, and an organ harvesting scheme gone wrong. That's it. There is no clever twist, there are no surprises. It's exactly that. It's the type of movie where if it doesn't "click" for you, you will have completely wasted your time.

A fun little black comedy with ample bloody kills. The 87 mins moves along at a frantic pace and the film never takes itself seriously which adds to the enjoyable humorous dialogue and inventive deaths. 4 stars and well worth the time.

Seeing some of the other reviews for this movie I decided to give it a watch. There were times when I enjoyed this movie and decided to up my review to two stars, but for the most part I was kind of confused as to where the movie was going to go next. The crescendo of the last 30 minutes of the movie made it worth the watch, but it took a bit to get there.
