Das spielerische Verhalten von Farben ist sehr auffällig und zeigt unterschiedliche Abschnitte des Ablebens sowie seine seine Vergangenheit sehr prägnant. Das macht der Film meisterlich. This is the same reason why horror movies get ranked so low so often, because people just don't get or like horror as a genre. That's not how ratings work. I think what makes this movie difficult to watch is that it really feels depressing to watch at times, as it is aggressively sad and unpleasant within the first few minutes. I can see what the movie was going for, but it is so emotionally draining and repetitive, I just didn't really like watching it. I also think the movie is visually creative, but the effects feel dated, and that is not ideal for a movie that is only from the 90s. Overall, it is an ambitious movie with some really creative elements, and Robin Williams did a great job in it, but it doesn't rank among his best films for me because of how sad and bleak the experience is.
