For many years, Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) has had the uneasy feeling that life with his family isn't quite what it seems. His fears come true when he finds a picture of himself as a youngster on a missing-persons website, proof that the people he's called mom and dad his whole life are not his real parents. As he draws close to uncovering his true identity, Nathan becomes the target of assassins, forcing him to flee with his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins), the only person he can now trust.

The only thing "wrong" with this movie is the TITLE. The poor reviews are because viewers thought they were going to watch a serious film like Liam Neeson’s "Taken". (That’s not the movie’s fault … the "critics" should’ve done their homework & gotten a clue from its PG-13 rating). This movie is geared for a high school or college audience (think of a more grown-up version of "Spy Kids"). It’s entertaining, fast-paced, has A-list actors, & is FUN ! I’m older than the intended audience, but I also love the Twilight movies because I can appreciate a high-quality movie even if the story or plot is for twenty-something viewers. Highly recommend, just keep in mind that "Abduction" isn’t a serious James Bond film & was made for young adults under 30 (…but sometimes that’s a good thing!)

This was the worst movie I have ever watched, I couldn’t even finish it. The plot, ridiculous, the acting, wooden, the continuity errors unending. Needs to be taken off Netflix

A 5% rating is actually crazy. I went in thinking this would be one of the most god awful movies I have ever witnessed when it was not even that bad. The plot was pretty good, they didn’t really leave holes. The acting was mid. It’s definitely not a GREAT film but a 5%?!

Not as terrible as reviews hint at, it was just handled poorly. The story was interesting and kept me invested throughout the whole film. The casting was all around bad though, the only character I believed was Weaver, no one else

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
