With the death of the former lead teller, the bank manager and Mrs. Pfiffer(Sophie Desmarts) feel confident that Paul Robotti(Renato Rascel), the new lead teller, is not capable of detecting their swindling, and decide to continue on as always. And they could not have been more wrong, which they learn the following morning when he goes through the books, starting in the beginning, which in this case is 1763. But the swindlers sense a weakness, namely Jeanne(Anita Ekberg), who has an apartment loan coming due and who Paul has been crushing on for the longest time. "Little Girls and High Finance" is an entertaining satirical farce that makes the most of its mismatched lead pair. While maybe the movie is a bit cynical when it comes to honesty, there is no denying the loveliness of the final scene.
