Deep Cover” was fun, fast-paced and full of actors who were enjoyable to watch. The script was clever and full of little details that ran through and drew me in. The twists were plentiful and speedy.

Bloom is a scene stealer, playing a classically trained actor who once had a brush with fame, but is now relegated to commercials. He’s very deadpan, and very method, and its the best performance I’ve seen from him in years.

Deep Cover is a gloriously dumb, gloriously fun undercover comedy where three actors discover that pretending to be criminals is a lot easier than actually being criminals. Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Nick Mohammed make the chaos sing, with every bad decision somehow leading to an even worse one. It’s silly, sharp, and surprisingly sweet. A crime movie where the biggest danger might be competence.

Clever and funny movie that, while it doesn't break any new ground in plotting or acting, does what it sets out to do and does it well. Real actors playing improv actors playing criminals .... It's competent and inventive enough to entertain you, if lightly, for its entire length.

Esta película me sorprendió mucho para bien. Había leído que no tuvo muy buena crítica y vengo y me encuentro con una comedia comiquísima, este elenco tiene una química que desborda gracia por todos lados. Ojalá hubiera una segunda parte.

Some solid laughs 'here and there,' but the plot was lackluster and the styling for Bryce Dallas Howard was a major miss. Average at best. Not a movie to watch it again.
