Tarantino designed this revisionist western to blow people's gaskets. Packed with physical comedy, bloody action and hell-bent revenge, it looks like a classic widescreen Sergio Leone western... Go to Full Review

A good film, and a crazily entertaining film, until Tarantino does blow everything up, at which point it just becomes rather silly. Go to Full Review

The film is at times brilliant but mostly infuriating. It is a good movie in that masturbatory way most Tarantino films are good. Go to Full Review

It might not be the most innovative in Tarantino’s oeuvre, but it’s got real stakes and memorable characters one can root for. Django is packed with Tarantino’s postmodern trademarks, but it also has the added value of actually addressing serious issues. Go to Full Review

Eric 04/25/2025 I wish I could give this movie 10 stars. Best movie that I’ve ever seen! See more Matt 08/31/2023 LOVED IT! Never seen this before. You’re missing out if you don’t watch this. See more Chris S @Janomi 3d Django Unchained is Quentin Tarantino at the top of his game. He deserves enormous credit for the story, casting, and direction, creating the most entertaining and emotionally satisfying films of his career. Blending the Western, revenge thriller, and dark comedy, he delivers a screenplay that's endlessly quotable, surprisingly funny, and impossible to stop watching. Jamie Foxx is outstanding in the title role, but Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio elevate the film even further. Waltz's Oscar-winning performance as Dr. King Schultz is charismatic, compassionate, and endlessly entertaining, while DiCaprio creates one of Tarantino's greatest villains in Calvin Candie. The three-hour runtime flies by thanks to exceptional pacing, razor-sharp dialogue, and constant tension, culminating in one of cinema's most satisfying revenge stories. Tarantino's fearless filmmaking, unforgettable performances, and masterful screenplay make Django Unchained one of my favorite films of all time. See more Frank S. @Frank24 3d Actually might be the best film ever made. See more Brandon S. @RT60203392 Jun 22 A cinematic masterpiece. One of the best movies ever made! Django is one bad dude!!
