Movie Info

Though it's been a year since her death, Ed (Steve Buscemi) is still pining over his deceased mother (Miriam Margolyes). Enter a firm called Happy People Ltd, which for a hefty fee will bring Ed's mom back to life. He ponies up the money, and miracle of miracles, mother returns. At first all is bliss. But eventually dead old mom begins acting very strangely. Her habit of eating bugs is only the tip of a bizarre iceberg. Can things get any weirder? They do, when Ed's "pal" Rob (John Gries), whom mother had sent to jail during her first life, comes calling. The supporting cast includes the likes of Ned Beatty, John Glover, and Rance Howard (Ron's dad).

Ed And His Dead Mother was a different type of zombie flick but it just wasn't as funny as I thought it was gonna be.Most of the funny moments came from Ned Beatty as the perverted uncle.Other than that, It's Not something I'd watch again

This is a crazy movie about a middle aged man who lost his mother. He is in great grief so he makes a deal with a salesman to resurrect his mother. But there is a problem, the mother turns out quite different than they expected. This movie was very weird and very funny.

enjoyable this, steve bushimi in a early 90s film and a main role which is always great to see. bushimi plays a mammys boy, after her death he misses her dearly, out of the blue a stranger offers him a chance to bring her back for a price, but like all things shes not the same and danger looms, was it a big mistake bringing her back, very light hearted, not really dark considering subject, it could have been a lot darker, but it plays along nicely, doesent take it self seriously, quite sweet in places and not gory, bushimi is charminmg even if playing a dull but soppy charactor, but give bushimi something, he always delivers
