When trying to make a sequel of a classic, too many years after the original release, at least try to follow the original storyline. Same as her parents deaths. It took my 5 whole minutes to realize that a monkey could have written a better script in crayon! I am not sure the writer had ever even seen the cult classic that was the original masterpiece. What kind of writer scripts a movie without ever touching the prequel to know what it is about. My only hope is that it is written without the consent of the origin.
