11/29/2012 Love golf and the book so much I bought this DVD. It is simply awful. It's too bad really. All of the components for a fantastic movie are here: a great cast, a beautiful setting, a good storyline, and a glorious sport. And it's all wasted. See more 12/08/2011 Really enjoyed this. I wonder if this project was something Clint Eastwood had to give up to Frances Fischer when they parted ways! There was a time when Sean Connery was to be in it with Eastwood directing. I like David O'Hara a lot but it would have been really cool to see Mr Connery do it. It looks good visually; the sound mix is first rate; all the performances are pretty solid but somehow it doesn't seem to work. Pity. I really wanted it to. See more Read all reviews
